saturday: gym in the morning, went to busan to get a perm and hang out with colby. watched star trek. ate burgers. ate tacos. drank korean tea. spent 3 hours in a salon near busan national university.
sunday: did not leave the apartment until 7pm but during that time planned a lesson, studied korean for an hour and finished watching rome. for dinner, duck. at the same restaurant as friday.
a good weekend, bookended by delicious duck. unfortunately i still didn't get around to posting pictures of my trip, but i promise that will happen soon.
also, last wednesday i watched 박쥐, translated as "thirst," the newest 박찬욱 (park chan-wook) film. in case you don't recognize the name, he's the director of oldboy, the mr. and lady vengeance movies, i'm a cyborg but that's ok, and joint security area. anyway, this new one's about vampires. it was really intense, really violent, and, as my unni christine put it, "so sexy movie!" very controversial. definitely difficult to watch at times, but overall really good. i didn't enjoy it as much as other park chan-wook films, though.
creepy, isn't it? the title in korean actually means "the bat," but i guess if they translated it directly americans might think too much of batman...
