This weekend I went to see this movie ^ (the title translates to "like fireworks, like butterflies" but the widely used english name is "the sword with no name"). It retells the story of Empress Myeongsong, who was famously assassinated by Japanese agents in the late 19th century. It was definitely a fun movie, but nothing groundbreaking or amazing. The actress who plays Myeongsong is beautiful though, and I was jealous of the costumes she got to wear:
Chuseok weekend was as hectic as expected. Traveling all around Seoul is exhausting. Some time I'll have to get around to posting my own pictures, but honestly I haven't sat down and uploaded pictures from my camera in months...there are hundreds on there since I went home this summer, and it's already October! Time's flying...
This weekend is my second fall ETA conference in Gyeongju! Busy busy busy preparing...
