new developments

So for those of you who didn't know (I doubt there's anyone besides people I've already told who actually reads this) I got a job for next year. I'll be working as Executive Assistant in the Fulbright Office in Seoul. It's a big responsability and the pay isn't great, but the perks are awesome: free housing in an apartment in the centrally-located Fulbright building and subsidized (or partially subsidized) Korean language classes at a nearby university. I found out that I got the job a few weeks ago, but I just found out today that I will in fact be allowed to go home for two weeks in the summer, after my ETA position ends and before I start training for work. Yay! I've been wondering about that ever since I found out about the job. I'm glad the office thought to make it easier for the next ETA taking the position, because the current Executive Assistant said she had to start even before her contract ended at her school!

Anyway just wanted to update on the good news :)
