quick summary of the past 3ish weeks

Thanksgiving dinner went swimmingly. I haven't touched my violin since, obviously. See a few pictures below...

The week after Thanksgiving was possibly the most stressful week I've had at my new job. Unexpected!

I registered for evening classes at Yonsei, which will start in January.

I made plans to travel to Tokyo with two friends from December 23-27. It's short because my boss gets back from her vacation on the 28th and wanted to make sure I was back then too.

This past weekend I and 26 other ETA volunteers held a holiday party at Samsungwon Orphanage in Gumi. I have awesome pictures but am not sure if it's okay for me to post them here!

I was sick yesterday and worked a very short day. Then Vinnie (one of my co-workers) was awesome and went out to get me and Jen (who's also feeling under the weather) some 죽 (jook), which is Korean porridge. Delicious and good for when you're sick! I feel muuuch better this morning.

This weekend I and a group of friends will be going to a performance of Handel's Messiah -- I'm so glad that this part of my holiday tradition will be preserved!
