"oh, emily teacher, today is bohemian style?"

Well, now that I've settled in a bit more at school, things are better. I don't feel like quite so much of a negative nancy.

Yesterday was my first class with students I've taught already, and it was great to just fall right back in with them. From now on I'll be teaching only the vocational second and third graders (on top of the entire first grade) which is different from last year. So I won't be seeing a lot of my students from last year, which is too bad. The new first graders are still a little scared of me, and the classes are so quiet! But they'll fall into routine soon enough.

*revision to that: today I taught my 1-8 class...I'm pretty sure they're going to be a little rough, but fun! They were noisy and yelling and I finally got my first yelling of "shit!" and "fuck you!", which I've been expecting since the beginning. Surprised I haven't heard it yet. I also had students choosing names such as "ABCDEFG," "Cribia," "Cleopatra," and "George," even after I explained that it's a man's name...This class will take alot of energy, I think. Gotta save up for the Thursdays.
