My students did presentations about famous American cities: Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Washington DC. Nobody did New York because there was a lesson on it last fall, and that group would have had an advantage! So here are some shots of my first graders, hard at work, listening attentively, presenting, and then playing at the pizza party we had afterwards! And also at noraebang! We had fun...
These are some from Matthew's student party that he threw after finishing his winter class. Gave me the idea, and he was nice enough to invite me along! These students are really great... I'll miss then next year (I don't teach the third graders). Also, doesn't Korean seafood pizza look DELICIOUS?! I made sure to bring lactaid pills so I could partake...and I did not regret it. ^.^
I got lost taking a long walk through some scenic areas of Gyeongju. Totally worth it. Beautiful!
