So say my students, when I tell them that today is their last class with me for the year and I'm going home for Christmas. It's either "bring me presents" or "bring me to America with you!"
Cute.
Anyway, I'm coming home in exactly a week. I'm really excited to be home, and now I'm actually excited to come back in January! I feel like I'm finally settling in better in Korea.
Things I am going to do when I come home:
Sing Christmas carols.
Decorate the Christmas tree.
Hug my family. A lot.
Hang out with friends that I miss.
Try not to be jetlagged.
Drink good coffee.
Eat Mexigo.
Eat J&Js.
Go to a Korean restaurant and order in Korean.
Talk to my hairdresser in Korean.
Hang out at Rockefeller Center and go for a freezing walk through Central Park.
Snuggle up under a blanket in my basement with hot chocolate or tea and watch all the dumb American TV I've been missing.
Punch my little brother.
Hang out at Starbucks with Matt.
Visit the Wobble Cafe and see if they remember that weird girl who worked there for 2 weeks.
Go to the Botanical Garden and see the train exhibit.
Sleep.
*edit* watch Pineapple Express.
watch Milk.
watch Wall*E (OF COURSE)
...to be continued and edited as the day comes closer.
