So I've been watching Mean Girls with my advanced lunchtime class, which is great! It's fun for me and for them. The DVD cost me less than $6 from a Korean online store. At the same store, I found a 2-disc special edition version of the Nightmare Before Christmas, which I'm now thinking of showing around Christmas time since my students keep asking me for a movie. I think it would be enjoyable and educational about Halloween, which we covered last week, AND Christmas. Also it's just a great film. The only problem is, while Mean Girls cost me very little, Nightmare is actually more like $16. Is this a worthwhile investment? I can't watch it in United States DVD players like my computer. I'd probably end up leaving it with the school, and I don't really think I could get reimbursed for a purchase like that. Opinions?

Bdan says you can play other region DVDs on computers pretty easily, though whether you'd need Divx or something similar, I dunno.
