new homestay family ^^

A lot has happened since I last blogged (obviously, since I've gone about 2 weeks since my last post), but I think the biggest thing is that I moved into my new homestay. I now live in an apartment that's actually very close to where my friend Matt lives, which is nice because his host mother is a teacher at my school and can drive me home. It's a much more convienient location: I can walk anywhere, the grocery store, the bus, bakeries (mmm) etc. I just get along with this family better, too, and feel more comfortable here. They have two kids. The older boy is Jeonghee (정희) and the girl is Hyeonhee (현희). They're in elementary school and so cute/funny! The father is the computer teacher at my high school and the mother is a housewife. She's decided I can call her 언니, which means older sister :) She's a really good cook (of course) and I like her a lot. They're helping me with Korean because they don't really speak any English. Our conversations are pretty funny, actually. 재미있어요.

So I'm happy with my new situation. I was worried initially because I'm taking Hyeonhee's room, but it turns out that she slept in her parents room anyway. Also the room is small, but I think it will work just fine. It's really cute (and pink).

More updates to come...
