Today's the day! I'm taking care of last-minute cleaning and laundry and packing. My flight leaves Laguardia at 7:05 pm, so I think we'll drive to the airport at around 4. I fly to O'Hare first, to meet up with all the other ETAs (English Teaching Assistants), and our flight leaves for Seoul at 1am Chicago time. We arrive at Incheon around 5am local time Monday morning, and we'll be at the orientation site by 11. Orientation activities start immediately after lunch. I'm anticipating being DEAD TIRED by this point, but oh well, it is the best way to adjust.
Hopefully I will be able to update immediately after I arrive on Monday with more details: by then I'll have met most of the other ETAs and the orientation staff, and maybe have some interesting traveling stories! Who knows. Now I am off to continue last second prep: my parents have threatened to throw away whatever isn't nailed down or put into boxes in my room while I'm away :\.
